Here at Something About Nothing we are open to all types of things. We are not on the up and up on the Latin music market, but I just happen to come across this song. From the start, this song is just plain catchy. Whatever sound that is in the beginning gets stuck in your head and trust me it is very hard to get out. I may not know what they are saying, but at this point I don’t care because I am already dancing and lost in the music.
So for this Just Listen post I want you guys to turn your volume all the way up and get dancing. You can watch the video down below. Also let us know what you thing in the comment section below.
My fav song off the album, Chronology, by Chronixx. With a backdrop of a beautiful city, Chronixx delivers his lyrics about how we as a society are all about “likes”. It’s not just for the love of something that we do things, we do it to see how many likes we can get and if what we did can go “viral”.
The song makes you sit back and think, is this really what we have become? Check out the video below and let us know what you think. Remember, do it for the love and not for the likes.
What happens when you make music with random things you can find? I tell you, you get an amazing rendition of “Come Down” by Anderson .Paak. The company go90 got together with .Paak and Kurt Hugo Schneider and made a nice remix of Anderson’s hit “Come Down” using random things they could find. Scissors, hands, and a flashlight just to name a few, are some of the “instruments” that are used in the making of the song. Of course there is a bass and a kick drum, but the duo also used a zipper on a sweatshirt. Just plain genius.
Check out the video below. Enjoy how the song is remixed and let us know what you think in the comment section below.
The first trailer for Stranger Things 2 is here. It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still in shock from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
Set to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” the trailer shows a handful of supernatural events that are still causing havoc all over the town of Hawkins, Indiana, despite the group already taking down the Demogorgon at the end of season 1. With the trailer not giving away too much information, we’ll have to wait and see what kind of surprises the squad is in for.
Check out the trailer down below and let us know what you think of the trailer.
The pair, backed by a singer, guitarist and pianist, kicked things off with “Do It,” one of the band’s first singles. Then they visited their brand new released project with “Second Time Around” and “July.” You can watch the amazing performance below.
The Roots and Pharrell performed an amazing set at The Roots annual picnic last month. They played a melody of songs from their classics, bringing out the Clipse and others throughout the headlining performance.
An official clip from the concert has now been released, thanks to Okayplayer. The Roots Crew and Skateboard P combine the band’s “Break You Off” with 702’s “I Still Love You,” which Pharrell sang the hook on and The Neptunes laced track , for an amazing addition to their set.
First of all I wanna say that this is an amazing thing to watch. Being a huge fan of basketball, I just love seeing a good person win. With all the backlash Durant got, he still went out and worked. Can’t help but appreciate a person that puts in the work and gets the award. He deserved the finals MVP and the “chip”. So check out this documentary about KD working “Through the Noise”.
