Adult Rappers

This documentary  pulls back the curtain on the world of ‘working class’ rappers. The film spotlights independent artists struggling to find a balance between making a living and pursuing their art and dreams, alongside the never-ending saga of age and relevance.  Put together through a series of 30 plus interviews that shake off the ego thats so common in the business of music, especially hip-hop. The film travels the country (USA) to explore the myths and misconceptions of life as a full-time rapper.

A Stranger Things Christmas?

In this Peanuts/Stranger Things mash-up, Will Byers returns home from the upside down, but can’t seem to shake off that traumatic experience.  Created by Leigh Lahav and Oren Mendez, our favorite group of youngsters get reimagined into the world of Peanuts. “Merry Christmas Will Byers”.   Fan favorite Eleven is also featured along with a monster who plays Snoopy. And as you can guess, Barb didn’t fare so well in animated form either. Awwww Barb.  Check out the clip below.

Tanzina Vega investigates the historical and contemporary racial barriers to wealth creation in the U.S.  Check out the CNN money clip down below.

Eminem – “Campaign Speech”

Eminem returns with eight minutes of politically charged lyrics on “Campaign Speech,” where he speaks his mind on everything from Colin Kaepernick, George Zimmerman, Donald Trump and more over  minimal production.  It’s basically a synth chord dragged out over eight minutes.  He shared with a Instagram message: “don’t worry I’m working on an album! Here’s something meanwhile,” so take that as positively or negatively as you want.
